About this Project
When a dog is found injured, abandoned, or in danger, UDLFI members mobilize to bring it to safety. The Rescue & Rehabilitation Program handles the full journey — rescue and transport, temporary sheltering with volunteer fosters, veterinary treatment and recovery, behavioral rehabilitation, and finally responsible rehoming to screened adopters. Run by the Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation Committee, this program turns a network of everyday dog lovers into a lifeline for animals that have nowhere else to turn.
