About this Project
What started as a simple act of love — Marco Maputol asking fellow dog owners to register as canine blood donors — grew into one of the most life-saving networks in Davao City's pet community. The UDLFI Blood Donor Network maintains an active registry of dogs that can donate blood and their owners who are willing to respond to emergency calls. When a dog is in crisis and the vet clinic has no compatible blood supply, one message to the group can save a life within the hour. Every registration, every mobilization, every successful transfusion is proof that dog lovers, united, are more powerful than any single clinic's inventory. This is the project that put UDLFI on the map — and it remains our most important ongoing commitment.

🩸 URGENT APPEAL: We received a call from a member whose Shih Tzu needs a blood transfusion tonight. If your dog is a registered donor and available, please message me directly. Details will follow in private. This is exactly why we built this network — let's respond as one family. 🐾

Reminder to all registered donors: please keep your dog's health records and last donation date updated in the group. Donors must be at least 4 weeks post-donation before giving again. Thank you for keeping our network healthy and ready! 💛
