About this Project
Dog sports give handlers and their dogs a reason to train together every week rather than only when an emergency calls. The focus, recall, and obstacle confidence that win a fun run are the same skills a search and rescue dog needs in the field, so the sports calendar doubles as a training pipeline for the association's canine training work. Events are open to local breed dogs and rescues, not only pedigreed competitors.
